A podcast is an audio file that can be downloaded and listened to on a PC or portable device such as an mp3 player.
Many people are familiar with podcast technology via the wider broadcast media such as the BBC. However, podcasts also provide a resource for business. They offer a way to connect with your website visitors via the spoken as well as the written word.
Podcasts can take various forms depending on what you want them to achieve. A short one-off advert or introduction to your business on your home page could be an interesting and unusual feature. Or you may wish to use podcasts to supplement a regular newsletter as way of providing information on latest offers or updates on your products and services.
